270-degree projection mapping offered immersive experience in the Windy City
On August 8, 2017 a small XLAB Realtime team landed in Chicago. The task was clear. To help create and deliver a stunning 270-degree projection mapping presentation for a major data warehousing company. To make the presentation look its best in the amazing ballroom of the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel, we had to pull some serious trick out of our hats. Opening video had to be rendered specifically for the size of the three walls and we had to figure out the positioning of 6 projectors. Fortunately, planning ahead pays off and we were able to blend all the projectors together easily with the help of an immensely powerful tool. Our media servers running the real-time rendering engine Ventuz had no troubles managing all the assets on the walls smoothly.
We have created an amazing all original opening video that stunned the audience right at the outset. The presentation made natively in independent resolution Ventuz software was operated through a professional clicker and two different servers were providing a real-time backup. Any last-minute changes for the interactive part of the presentation were easily and swiftly deployed thanks to the extremely flexible Ventuz software.
270-degree projection mapping is the way to go
We always enjoy working on a technically challenging project. Great presentations often require significant changes on a short notice and we are fully capable of smooth implementation of those. The 270-projection mapping is especially powerful in smaller venues, as it brings the entire space into a new immersive dimension. We can help you build a powerful presentation in a league of its own!
